Why HANAMUSUME?
Make choosing flowers
feel personal.
Flowers can mark an important occasion, but they can also shift the mood of an ordinary day. Yet many people have few chances to learn their names, how to choose them, or what to consider when giving them.
HANAMUSUME does not treat flowers as a world for experts alone. We connect the first steps—learning, choosing, giving, and growing—to bring younger generations and flower culture closer together.
Editorial promise
Accuracy
before speed.
We share flower knowledge, practical ideas, and original stories in a clear and approachable way.
Discover flowers
Learn about classification, safety, culture, gifting, and the details that make each flower distinctive.
Facts and interpretation are separate
We distinguish factual information—such as taxonomy, safety, and distribution—from editorial interpretation, planning, and storytelling.
Fiction does not replace botany
HANAMUSUME character personalities and stories are fictional. Their creative settings are presented separately from the botanical facts that inspired them.
Corrections and relationships are disclosed
We correct errors when they are found and identify material updates. Advertising, sponsorship, and direct operating interests are distinguished from ordinary editorial content.
Images and data graphics are distinguished
We distinguish editorial images that illustrate an idea or scene, data graphics that communicate verified facts, and documentary photographs of real places. Images that do not depict a named shop, person, or production area are identified as such.
